High-Four from Mrs G
The late, great Mrs Grey photographed on the last occasion I spent time with her. As in the previous image of Rafa, she's in the process of cleaning between the toes of her impressive back foot.

Mountain Hare Grooming Sequence
One of my favourite things to do is watch a mountain hare groom. Sometimes this means sitting with an animal doing almost nothing for a few hours, but when it does start grooming, it's all worth it! This image shows the full groom from initial stretch to snooze.

Mountain Hare in Blizzard
One of my favourite images from my Feb/March 2019 trips up to see the mountain hares. Taken as I was about to head back home, I came across this hare.

Red Squirrel - Eskrigg Nature Reserve
A cheeky little red squirrel photographed at the excellent Eskrigg Nature Reserve near Lockerbie. The squirrels here are really tame and often come far too close to photograph!

Taken at Eskrigg Nature Reserve in late summer. I spotted the toadstool when I arrived and then had to wait a few hours before squirrel eventually approached it.

Red Squirrel, Cairngorms
This has been my most popular print - a red squirrel photographed in August in the old caledonian pine forest on the Rothiemurchus Estate. The heather was stunning.

Peek-a-boo!
This image of a red squirrel peeking through a hole in a fallen log was published in the Sunday Times and is my most popular ever image on instagram.

Puffins, Lunga
Photographed on the Treshnish Islands (Lunga). Puffins mate for life and show their affection towards each other by tapping their bills together. This is known as "billing", and I love watching it.

Sea thrift coats the island of Lunga in the spring and is so pretty. Here are 2 puffins perched just behind it.

What's Up Doc?
My personal all time favourite photograph. Why this rabbit picked up the feather I'll never know, but I'm so pleased it did! Photographed in Glasgow's Queen's Park in 2016.

Long-Tailed Tit
My favourite little bird, and one I am still struggling to attract to my Glasgow garden even although they are in the neighbourhood. This one was photographed on the Black Isle on a crested tit photography day.
